The Lang Motors Story

Lang Motors has been in business since 1924 and originated when John Wesley 'Wes' Lang Sr., at the age of twenty-one opened a Maxwell dealership in Titusville, Pennsylvania. Wes moved to Meadville in 1927 and became a Dodge dealer, and later a Packard dealer.

Wes's son, John Wesley 'Jack' Lang joined his father in the car business in 1951 and the two operated Wes Lang Motors together until Wes retired in 1967.

Jack continued to grow the business, changed the name to Lang Motors and bought additional properties, which abutted the Lang Motors tract. Jack's son, Dane Lang joined the business full-time in 1976
Dane Lang - Owner and 3rd generation in the Lang Motors family, is proud of the history and long standing tradition of taking care of the customer, developing long standing relationships. Building the business on consumer confidence, repeat business, and word of mouth advertising is key. Hand picked, late model, low mileage, serviced, inspected and warrantied exceptional vehicles are Lang Motors specialty.

Lang Motors soft-sell philosophy was started by Wes Lang in 1924, taught and practiced by his son Jack, and is carried on today by Dane and his sons Adam & Ryan, who are the 4th generation. "We don't sell cars, we help people buy." Dane is proud to have been recognized by NIADA as Pennsylvania State Quality Dealer of the Year and recipient of the PIADA 2010 Award.
